I order the fried oysters every time I come here. It was my favourite dish, but on this visit, the experience was a huge letdown. It wasn't particularly busy on a Saturday night, a staff member dressed as a chef brought the dish over and just stood there asking, "Is this the table?" He remained rooted to the spot as if expecting us to take the oyster plate from him ourselves. The oysters weren't served with lemon wedges, weren't hot, and had a heavy, greasy taste, suggesting they had been sitting out for a long time before being brought to the table. At last we had to ask a server to bring us some lemon wedges. The lack of professionalism in both the service and the food quality was deeply disappointing.

This place was a very welcome surprise. I just wanted a nice cheap place to eat some sushi and it delivered exactly that and more. I ordered the chicken katsu which was huge, and then 3 rolls of sushi all for less than 40 dollars which i shared with another person. The taste is not out of this world, but for the price and convenience I was very satisfied. The service was very fast and attentive. I would definitely come back here again.

10/10, highly recommend! The owner and head chef’s creations are truly exceptional. I’m so happy I came across this spot in Savannah, GA—it’s rare to find a place that delivers such an authentic Japanese dining experience. Every piece of nigiri was amazing—the tuna, uni, unagi… all top quality and beautifully prepared. What really stood out to me were the agedashi tofu and the tamago, which is made in-house (a detail you don’t see often). You can tell a lot of care and skill goes into every dish. The only downside is that it’s about a two-hour drive for me, so I can’t come as often as I’d like. But if you’re ever in Savannah, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

Pretty decent overall but not exceptional. A good value lunch special, I got there two rolls and then the Sashimi lunch platter. Service pretty decent and the atmosphere nothing special. I've been to dozens and dozens of sushi restaurants, I would rate this a ....7.8

Wonderful Japanese cuisine! My parents loved this place over 20 years ago, and it’s only gotten better! They have a certified sushi chef to boot. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. Also, the staff is always super friendly and the service is quick!
